Position: Managing Partner and Head of Private Client

David Edwards is a highly experienced Private Client Solicitor and an expert in working with you on strategies to protect and manage wealth and protect you and your family.

He acts for a range of clients including families, couples, single parents, elderly persons, and HNW individuals including farmers, land owners and business owners. He is also legal advisor to a number of charities, family trusts and Deputies working with the Public Guardianship Office.

He has great patience and enjoys working with clients to find the right solution for them. With over 25 years experience in family and tax planning Wills, family and charitable Trusts, Probate including many cross-border estates, Care for the Elderly he is expert with great tenacity in getting the right outcome for his clients and making sure you are looked after. His wealth of understanding ensures you are in safe hands.

For more than ten years David has worked closely with the University of Brighton and is the lead partner of this firm’s sponsorship of the Art and Architecture Faculty’s Graduate Show. He has recently been appointed one of the Ambassadors of University of Brighton.

David has been a partner in the firm since 1986 and is the firm’s Managing Partner and Head of the Private Client team. He is also a member of The Society of Estate Practitioners (STEP) the worldwide specialist grouping of Trust and Estate specialists, a member of the Agricultural Law Association and recently appointed Vice-President of Sussex Law Society.

David is also a Director of DKM Wealth Limited our associated Chartered Financial Planning firm, which is lead by a Chartered Accountant. DKM Wealth is regulated by the Financial Services Authority to provide commission free expert advice on inheritance tax and investments.
