Family mediation helps you sort out issues with your partner or former partner without the expense and worry of high legal fees and going to Court.

Family mediation often produces agreement to issues without increasing the difficulties between each person. It also avoids the Court making decisions which which no-one is happy with.

How does Mediation work?

First you and your partner or former partner agree to mediation. Then our family mediator, Wendy Ryle will speak to both of you to find out a little about the dispute and any relevant background information. She will then arrange the first mediation session. In some cases only one session will be needed.

Our family mediator, Wendy Ryle, will always be neutral and does not take sides. She will help you find an agreed resolution of the issues which you want to sort out. The mediator cannot give legal advice but can provide information to both parties to help reach an agreement.
