Burt Brill & Cardens Graduate show 2011

Packed full of innovative exhibits, from fashion to photography and sculpture to design this year's Burt Brill and Cardens Graduate Show is set to be the biggest and brightest on record.

From 4 to 9 June 2011, exhibits from more than 500 students from the University of Brighton's renowned Faculty of Arts will transform the Grand Parade campus into the biggest gallery in the south-east of the UK.

Over 15,000 visitors will discover the work of the class of 2011 perhaps taking the opportunity to commission work or compile a collection before students emerge as leading lights in their chosen discipline.

Commercial lease break notice
Can you withdraw it?

Tenants are using impending break options as a way to ease the burden of their leases.

They hope the break option will force a landlord to agree to concessions in the lease.

If the landlord does not agree, the tenant will serve the notice and leave the landlord with an empty property.

Sussex Law Society President
David Edwards

Our Managing Partner and Head of Private Client, David Edwards, is approaching the end of his year as Sussex Law Society President.

The President is chosen by members of the Society, solicitors in Brighton and across Sussex.

David Edwards says "It has been a great honour to be chosen by one's peers to lead the professional organisation for solicitors in Sussex."

The highlight of the year was the recent Annual Charity Ball with 230 members and guests including leading figures of the local Judiciary and the Bar
